This wooded campground is just minutes from the heart of Revelstoke area, which is a playground for the young and young at heart. The campground sits on the side of Mt. Revelstoke herself, and has some hiking trails from camp that lead you to various features of the park. The campground is lovely, clean, and scenic. Electric hookups are available, but there, surprisingly enough, is no dump in the facility, so plan ahead. A variety of aspens and pines spot camp. Perimeter sites are more wooded and preferred, however the interior pull-through sites are level and long for large diesel pushers. There are a handful of dry camping sites, which I preferred most for their privacy and spaciousness. All sites have picnic tables and fire pits and free firewood is available. Small cabins are available, and are tidy and convenient. There is a small visitor center with some exhibits located right at camp. This camp does offer views of the peaks in the area, which are stunning. This fantastic stop, conveniently located right of Trans-Canada 1 books up fast, so reserve ahead of time.
