Redden's Camp & RV Park, Longbow Lake, Ontario, Canada

There is little to be found as far as accommodations along this stretch of the Trans-Canadian Highway through Ontario. There are countless lakes to be had, but not much as far as campgrounds or RV parks. Redden's is situated right along lovely Longbow Lake, which stretches into the states. Redden's caters to mostly semi permanent or seasonal RVers. There are fewer than ten sites here for overnighters and short term stays, so book early. Of those sites, none are fantastic, but it is clean and there are excellent amenities. The park has a dock with rentable boat slips, an excellent market, gift shop, and liquor store. You will find everything you need here: groceries, fishing supplies, clothing, and souvenirs. There are clean laundry facilities in each section of the park, trash collection, playground, and a gas station on site. Sites are gravel, level, and have a fire pit, and picnic table. Our site was one of the few right along the highway, but after 9pm we didn't notice any road noise because the highway does down. We would stay here again because of the clean premises, friendly folks, and easy proximity to the travel route.
