Philadelphia South/Clarksboro KOA, Clarksboro, New Jersey

As the closest campground or RV park to Philadelphia, we were delighted with our stay here. This KOA is clean, with a scenic property set in the middle of a mature forest. About a 20 minute drive from the city, we enjoyed the peaceful and family friendly atmosphere of this park. When we arrived late in the day after the main offoce had already closed, we found our site map waiting for us. Our boys jumped out, eager to explore. They returned a bit later saying,"We have the worst site in the whole place, but this is a nice KOA." We agreed. Although our site lacked any space or landscaping to distinguish us from our neighbors, the park overall has very nice sites. Sites are the typical KOA gravel, level sites with picnic tables and fire rings. There is a large pond in the center of the park and many sites have a nice view of it. The perimeter of the park is wooded and many sites closer to that perimeter have a sprinkling of trees. The typical KOA amenities await you here: two laundry facilities, dog runs, cabins, propane, pavilions, restrooms, playground, jumping pillow (free!), horseshoes, pool, dec room, and shuffleboard. Plus, with proximity to the coty over any other RV park, this is a great place to rest your head. The tent sites here are especially scenic (sites 48-53).
