Lake Cunningham Campground, Omaha, Nebraska

Two separate RV campground loops, separated by a finger of the lake, offer beautiful campsites to enjoy. There is also a tent only loop that we did not visit. While staying here you won't feel like you are just minutes from downtown Omaha. Instead, you will feel as if you are visiting your favorite state park. Campsites in the East and West loops have level, paved pads and electric hookups at all sites. Sites offer full hookups in the East Loop. The two campgrounds are similar, but our stay in the West loop was delightful with more spacious sites, more mature trees, and stunning lake views and access. No site here is bad. Wildlife abounds with toads, turtles, geese, beaver, and lots of bass to catch. A small marina is available, aling with a boat launch. Walking paths meander around the lake, enjoyed by cyclists and walkers alike. Kayakers enjoy the lake's waters. A camphost sells firewood. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings. There are restrooms at each campground, but no official storm shelter is available.
