of the Rockies and Grand Lake await you here from almost every site. With over 100 sites to choose from, making a decision at reservation time can be overwhelming, but honestly, every site has a view from this bluff top campground that has easy access to the lake's shore. I would say sites in the 40-60 range have the most limited lake views and more noticeable highway noise. The campground has newly sprouted pines and a sagebrush and wildflowers undergrowth. Interior roads are paved and site pads are a dirt/gravel mix. Most pads are level, but sites 1-8 seemed to be either unlevel or simply narrow pull-off sites better suited for tenters than RVers. A few walk-in sites are located throughout the campground, as is potable water and restrooms. Boating and fishing are popular on this large lake. Visiting the quaint boardwalk town of Grand Lake just a few miles to the North is also fun!
