Spring Creek Campground & Trout Ranch, Big Timber, Montana

Big Timber is a quaint little historic town where Robert Redford's Horse Whisperer movie was filmed. The loveliest RV park I think we've ever stayed in, this park is a mere three miles south of town, situated right along the Boulder River. With just over sixty sites that speckle this riverside property, you are sure to be assigned a spot you enjoy. The best sites are of course the riverfront ones, and you will be right on the river's edge. Your site will have less room for setting up your "patio" but you will have spectacular views and the constant sound of the rumbling river. Inland sites are slightly more spacious and have grassy patios. All sites have level, gravel pads, a fire ring, and most have hookups. A variety of trees, including cottonwoods landscape the property. Friendly staff works this property and will help you with whatever you need. On site you will find outgoing mail, laundry, fishing ponds, a nicely appointed covered picnic pavilion (great for groups/rallies), a playground, volleyball net, horseshoes, large grassy areas to play catch in, and a small store with ice cream, supplies, and souveniers. The grounds are immaculate here and we definitely will return to this top notch park!
