This is a fantastic place to stay while visiting the beautiful wine country town of Napa. Many wineries in the area, along with a delightful selection of dining along the town's riverfront amd quaint, upscale shops are enticing to visitors. The park is located in the city and just a couple of blocks from the riverfront downtown, all easily walkable. The park itself is located at the Napa County Fairgrounds and offer, I'm sure, a great experience during the fair. Several fair exhibit buildings surround camp. The park has only 28 sites. All sites are full hookups, have picnic tables, a small grassy area, and have level cement pads that can accomodate big rigs. Tents are not acceptable here. There are strict rules here about what is and is not allowed, so review the guidelines carefully. We booked our stay the day of our arrival, Thanksgiving, and managed to snag one of the few remaining sites. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a snarky camphost who was quite abrupt and rude. Despite our experience with him, we were delighted to have a site during a busy holiday in such a phenomenal area and just steps from downtown. We enjoyed our stay in site 25, and liked how it backed up to some trees, but there was slight road noise. Overall, this is a great place for a few nights stay to visit such a beautiful area!
