Typical of most KOAs, this "kampground" has many sites with little privacy, but tons of amenities. Located just a couple of miles from the heart of downtown and the University of Montana, this makes a nice urban base camp. You will find a large laundry room, miniature golf, pool, spa, playground, bike rentals, dog park, a well-stocked store, KOA Kafe, ice cream most evenings, and a meeting room for large groups. Don't have an RV? No worrried. Like most KOAs this facility has tent sites and cabins. The campground has many mature trees, but sites in row B and C seemed to be the shadiest. We preferred the premium sites, especially M7 ans L4 as they had paved patios with bench swings and more room to relax. RV sites have water and electric and many have sewer. All sites have campfire rings and picnic tables. A variety of cabin layouts are available. Staff here are friendly and helpful. Typical of a KOA, site pads are level and a gravel-dirt mix while interior roads are paved.
