Located coneveniently North of the Creole Nature Trail scenic natre drive, this RV resort has a sprawling resort with tons of amenities for families. There is a pool, splash pad, a wading pool, and water slide, all for keeping cool on summer days. They also have a sand volleyball court, miniature golf, fishing pond, kayaking lake, and a small camp store with ice and basic supplies. There are hundreds of campsites here, all with full hookups. Most of those sites are not shaded and on dirt pads. We expected paved pads with the resort price tag this place has. Interior roads are paved, but we noticed many dips and areas of destroyed asphalt. The lack of shade from trees is a big issue during the summer months when temps here reach well into the 90s and 100s with high humidity. There is a fantastic laundry room with modern, efficient washers and dryers. If camping isn't your thing, you can rent a small cabin, which seemed to be a popular option during our stay. We felt as though the public, community areas were well maintained to give the appearance pf a posh resort, but the campsites were a bit neglected for an RV park calling itself a "resort." Lack of trees/landscaping and paved site pads led us to feel this way. Also, cell service here is extremely poor and the park does not offer wi-fi.
