Post Oak Place, Denton, Texas

We chose this RV park over other flashier parks in the area because of its proximity to University of North Texas, just two miles up the road. The park is true to its name, heavily landscaped with oaks which provide nice shade in the heat of summer. Only six sites here are available for overnighters. The remaining 75+ sites are long term residents. Residents seemed to keep tidy camps. Interior roads are in need to paving. Some spots are gravel and others are rough pavement. Site pads are gravel and offer a small cement strip as a patio. Weedy grass separates sites, but does help reduce radiant heat from cement. Each site has full hookups. The registration office is nestled deep in the center of the park and can be difficult to get to by RV. If stopping in, instead use the short term stay check in at the kiosk near the entrance. There is a clean pool and laundry room available, although the laundry is a ways away from short term sites. The park is adjacent to train tracks, so you will hear the frequent rumble and choo of the train.
