Wisconsin State Fair RV Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This is less of a park and more of an RV lot. This concrete jungle does have its perks in that it is in Milwaukee proper and just a short Uber ride or drive away from many downtown attractions. If you are here for a Brewers game, there is the Hank Aaron Trail that takes you from camp to the stadium. Due to mid-July humidity, we opted to Uber and not use the bike path. Sites here have zero privacy and are
situated in a parking lot. There is decent space between neighbors. Some sites have picnic tables, while others do not. Our assigned site was 1201 and it was literally on the road and unlevel. We saw a few "sketchy" people on our drive in and asked the staff for a different site. Our original site, like many, also required us to have an approximately 30 foot water and electric cord to reach the hookup posts despite being a "hookup" site. Electric/water posts are shared among FOUR sites. If you are one of the inner two sites, it works; if you are one of the outer, it's a stretch, literally. There is a nice laundry facility and showers available. If visiting during the Wisconsin State Fair, you will have easy access to the fun, but I would imagine it could also be noisy. The paved lot is well lit, but shades for overhead vents and windows make sleeping easier. Overall, this was a quiet spot considering it is "city camping" and I recommend it based on its proximity to the attractions of Milwaukee.
