Streetsboro/Cleveland KOA, Streetsboro, Ohio

This KOA served it's purpose for us. With plans to attend the MLB Home Run Derby being hosted by the Cleveland Indians, this RV park closest to the stadium was ideal. The KOA is about 25 mikes from Cleveland, so a tow vehicle is necessary since public transit is not an option. We found an Enterprise rental within city limits to take care of our vehicle
needs during our stay. Camp is set in a quiet, semi-rural area of Streetsboro. The grounds are pretty with rolling hills. A good half of the campground's sites are designated and occupied as "seasonal sites," meaning long term residents. Interior roads are paved near the entrance, but quickly degrade into bumpy gravel. Summer rains during our stay led to quite a few soggy sites and muddy roads. A nice asphalt paving in this wetter region would be nice. Site pads are generally level, gravel and surrounded by grass. Fire pits and tables are provided. Most sites are shaded with trees amd many sites have views of the ponds. All the usual KOA activities are available: playground, game room, fishing ponds, pool, large family ganes, and hosted events. There is a gift shop, ice cream shop and homemade fudge for sale in the main office. Laundry and wi-fi are available. Staff were busy here keeping this place clean and appealing; mowing, courtesy trash pickup, and pool maintenance were all observed during our stay. Overall, this KOA served our needs. It was pretty and generally quiet despite being quite full. To improve the grounds, staff should consider paving site pads and interior roads.
