This RV park in Lincoln proper boasts about 70 campsites for rigs and another handful for tenters. Summers here can be warm, so the shaded, gravel roads and pads are pleasing. The campground is located at the convergence of the I-80 and the 180, just North of the downtown area. The town is easily accessible by car or the Roper Bike Trail system. This trail system is a nice, wide,
paved bike path that skirts past the entrance of the RV park. Follow the path to the south and you will end up downtown at Oak Creek Park, UNL (UN Lincoln), and the historic Haymarket district. The path is flat and only a couple of miles to downtown. We biked this not only late at night for the 4th of July fireworks show at Oak Creek Park, but also during the day to reach the Haymarket and University.
Campsites, as previously mentioned, are shaded by mature trees. Gravel pads are level and many sites are pull thru. The campground offers full hookups at every site. For kids and families there are many activities to enjoy here including water slides, bicycle rentals, jump pad, water balloon launching system, a small arcade, disc golf, a playground, pool and spa, ping pong, and a variety of giant family games. The activities definitely will keep kids busy. There is a well appointed gift shop, soft serve ice cream, and pizza available at the main office. Laundry facilities are clean and and showers and restrooms are also available. We loved the proximity to downtown amd found the only downside to this lovely park is the mild to moderate highway noise and lack of privacy typical of RV parks.
Best Sites: B1-B4, D27-D36, E1-E4
Poor Sites: A Sites
Hookups: Electric, Water & Sewer
Potable Water: Yes
Dump Within Facility: Yes
