We mosied into this pretty KOA on a whim to shorten a longer drive and stay a quick night. Friendly staff greeted us and found us a lovely site among the trees of this park. The park is extremely convenient to downtown Salt Lake City including Temple Square. The city's light rail system has a stop right at the KOA, so it is easy for you to get around the city, especially with stops every 15 minutes. We used the light rail to attend a Triple A Bees (Angels affiliate) baseball game
and found it convenient and inexpensive.
Within the campground you will find all of the usual KOA goodies: laundry, pool, store, playgrounds, dog park, and media center. There is night security, along with propane, an RV wash and a small Mexican restaurant at the entrance of the park. Sites are typical of a KOA, bit nicely shaded with trees, full hookups, picnic tables and small grassy and paved patios. Deluxe sites with nicer patio furnishings are available. At the back of camp you will stumble upon the Jordan River which has a pedestrian bridge leading you from camp to the bike path. Tent sites and cabins are also available. Being in the City has its perks with convenient transportation, however highway and train noise can be heard through the night.
Best Sites: End Sites, 11, 12, 13
Worst Sites: 1100-1200 sites
Hookups: Electric, Water & Sewer
Potable Water: Yes
Dump Within Facility: Yes
