Robidoux RV Park, Gering, Nebraska

We were so pleased to pull into this small but spacious RV park after a long days drive across the Midwestern plains. Located in western Nebraska, Robidoux RV Park is one of few in the area and offers about forty sites for guests. This park not only offers spectacular views of Scott's Bluff National Monument, it also has spacious sites that afford you a pleasant stay. Sites are either back in or pull through and provide ample space from neighbors. All sites offer views of the monument, which is just a short drive or
bike ride away. The town of Gering doesn't offer much as far as amenities or entertainment; the monument is the main attraction here. If, however, you are a baseball fan, the Oregon Trail Stadium hosts the Exposition League, which is a collegiate summer baseball league. The Pioneers, the local team, play at the stadium throughout the summer. We easily biked from camp the 2 flat miles from the RV park to attend this family friendly event.
Back at camp, site pads are paved and fairly level. All sites have a cement patio area, picnic table, fire pit, and either partial or full hookups. Laundry and Wi-Fi are also available here. Upon check in you will receive a ton of information on visiting various sights in the area. The folks we encountered here were typical Midwestern friendly, and we will definitely enjoy a stay here in the future. Chimney Rock National Monument is a short twelve mile drive away to the east and can be spotted on a clear day.
