This resort right along the 101 in Paso Robles is a sister resort to Wine Country RV Resort, part of the Sun RV Resorts system. Welcoming all ages, this resort has many upscale amenities similar to Wine Country RV, and still maintains convenient access to the 101 and the small town of Paso Robles. All sites here offer full hookups, paved, level pads and pristine landscaping. There are also cottages for rent. The office staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially when we inquired about transportation into town. Two pools, a spa, laundry, small gift shop, wifi, exercise room, sparkling bathrooms, a rich library, and a dog run are all of the typical amenities you will find here. We also noticed and liked the convenient Domino's kiosk to have pizza delivered to your site. Upon our arrival, the friendly staff informed us of the complimentary wine tasting hosted by a local winery in one of two ballrooms, as well as the happy hour going on in the Magnolia Lounge. We weren't sure what to expect with either of these, but
went over to check them out, and we enjoyed visiting with the winery owner while sipping some delicious wines. We then headed over to the posh Magnolia Lounge. Here we found several vacationers enjoying a game of pool and lively conversation at the beautiful full-service bar. We sat back and joined in on the fun in this relaxing atmosphere. The park does have slight freeway noise, but nothing that bothered our sleeping or ability to relax poolside. They have piped a nice stereo system throughout the public areas of this park, and we especially enjoyed this while poolside and in the Magnolia Lounge. All in all, this is a great place to stay for a couple of nights while traveling through central California. Although we still slightly preferred its sister resort just a few miles away, I have no doubts that we will make a stop here again!
