This state park, situated conveniently off Interstate 5 and along the Rogue River is a beautiful place to set up camp for a few days. With over 150 sites to choose from, your bound to find someplace to settle in for a night or two. The campground is broken down into 6 loops. A loop is strictly for tenters. Spacious, shady sites offer a nice place for pitching your tent. B, C, D, and E loops are situated in two sets of concentric circles with C and E loops being the interior sites. F is a loop further out from the others and offers shady, spacious sites that are set further back from the Rogue River. All sites in B-E
loops have full hookups, while sites in the F loop have only electric hookups. Each loop has showers, restrooms, park hosts and paved interior roads and site pads. Sites are all very level. The B, C and F loop have laundry facilities. Our most favorite feature of this park was the paved Rogue River Greenway Trail that led us 2 1/2 miles from camp into the City of Rogue River. This little town has a market, shops, a fabulous diner, gas stations and anything else you might need. The Greenway is a beautiful way to see the river and area. There are also several geocaches placed along the path, which we enjoyed finding. The park also has a amphitheater, disc golf course, a volleyball court, six yurt sites, a group camp, firewood sales, meeting hall, and a day use area.
