Desert Shadows RV Resort, Glendale, Arizona

We have never stayed at a place quite like this. A mix of a true trailer park and RV park, we opted to stay here since our usual go-to park was full. Close to the area's attractions, mainly the MLB Spring Training camps for us, this park was perfect for our needs.
Most people here are residents, either snowbirds or full-time, and friendly at that. Business seemed to be good as the place was packed.  Fortunately
we snagged a pull - thru site, which are premium here, and was ideal for us since we were going to be in and out of the park all weekend.  Back - in sites are located throughout the park, but are between stationary park models.  We were happy to be in a row of rigs like our own. Many activities are offered for full-time residents and visitors. The weekend we were here they had a dance, a patio sale (think garage sale), and a donut sale. A full calendar of events is available. An indoor pool (limited kid swim hours), spa, golf cage, exercise room, and shuffleboard courts are available. Dog runs are also throughout the park. Interior roads are paved and sites are gravel with a small cement patio, bench and full hookups. Reservations are highly recommended.
