Just outside of Casa Grande and about an hour south of Phoenix you will find the small town of Florence. Set back along the Interstate 10, we chose this campground because of its proximity to Casa Grande Ruins National Monument and more scenic setting. The ruins are about a ten minute drive northwest along backroads and offers a historical look into the history of the area and the remarkable architectural and agricultural accomplishments of the Native Americans who once dominated this unforgiving landscape. The RV park itself is
scenic, as far as desert landscapes go, is quiet and offers both RV sites with hookups and small cottages. There is a pool, spa, laundry, showers, horseshoe pits and outdoor and indoor facilities to enjoy the warm evenings and meet other RVers. Each campsite offers picnic tables, gravel pads, a small concrete patio, hookups, clean desert landscapes paved interior roads and beautiful views of the sunsets.
