Mazama Campground, Crater Lake National Park, Crater Lake, Oregon

Although we were hoping for a rim-side view of Crater Lake, Mazama Campground offers scenic, spacious sites. Some sites offer beautiful views of Annie Creek. Heavily wooded, there are nearly 200 sites in this campground; about 20 of those offering a 30 amp electrical hookup for RVs. Interior roads are paved, however sites are dirt and fairly level, with the exception of a few heavily sloped sites. Reservations here are not site-specific, rather "length specific." Upon arrival you will select a site within your length range. We liked this process as we were able to nab a spacious site with a spectacular overlook of Annie Creek that suited our preferences. The "G Loop" is open to tents only. Trailheads, a restaurant, trolley service,
laundry, showers, gasoline and convenience store are all located within the campground. Crater Lake and a Visitor's Center are located a few steep miles away.
