Texas Spring Camgpround, Death Valley National Park, Furnace Creek, California

With a beautiful setting tucked up in the hills and away from its next door neighbor, Sunset Campground, Texas Spring is only open to tent campers. The camp holds over a 100 sites, yet has a small, intimate feel with the different loops located between the different nooks. The best part of this campground is its tucked away feel and slight elevation which provide some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains that create the valley. Sites are primitive, offer fire rings, picnic tables and dirt pads, however interior roads
are paved. Potable water and restrooms are available. Most sites offer little privacy between neighbors, and all sites are first come-first served and can fill up quickly during peak season: fall and spring. The campground closes in late spring due to extreme summer heat.  An overflow tenting area is available at Sunset Campground.  Enjoy star gazing in this International Dark Sky Park.
