Desert's Edge RV Village, Phoenix, Arizona

Also known as "The Purple Park" since accent colors here are in a bright, vivacious purple, this RV park is a clean and quiet place to settle in for a night or two while visiting the Phoenix area. Many spots during the winter and spring months are occupied by snowbirders, however park models are not allowed here giving the park a clean, classy feel. We have stayed here for a few nights several different times while visiting during MLBs Spring Training, and found the location perfect for our needs. The RV park is situated adjacent to the 101 freeway loop, however with a sound wall and lush landscaping, the park feels private and doesn't have the level
of freeway noise you'd expect, especially in sites furthest from the freeway. Convenient freeway access was a definite plus, as well as various shopping centers and restaurants just one exit to the North. Within the park itself, we enjoyed all of the amenities the park has to offer: a pool and spa, small exercise room, pool table, common TV area, a small game/reading room, common BBQ and outdoor eating area, miniature golf and a playground for young kids. Interior roads and campsite pads are paved, allowing for easy leveling. All sites have nicely tended desert landscaping offering decent privacy between neighbors, as well as water and electric hookups, while some sites offer sewer hookups and picnic tables.
