Quail Creek State Park, St. George, Utah

,
This Utah State Park is set along the rim of Quail Creek with views of beautiful red rock formations. Summers here are hot (near the century mark) and winters are cold (freezing!). A smaller, dammed lake just outside of the St. George city core, this campground does offer reservations year round for its 23 campsites, although spring and fall are the best seasons to enjoy the lake in moderate temperatures. Interior roads are paved asphalt and each site offers lake views, paved pads, a picnic table and shade shelter. Modern restrooms are also
available. Shaded picnic areas for larger groups or day use are also available adjacent to the
campground. Boating, swimming, fishing, and OHV trails are all popular activities. The park also offers a boat launch, dock and Visitor's Center to acquaint you with the area's features.  Overall, this
campground offers a quick, quiet, scenic getaway for those living in the southern Utah region, or a nice layover for those traveling on. With easy access to Zion National Park within 20 minutes, day trips to the park are a snap!
