This campground is a nice combination of RV resort and a rustic campground with tall Ponderosa pines spotting the park. Located just off old Route 66 and just a few miles from historic downtown Flagstaff, this wooded campground is appropriately named. Sites are laid out in the format of a typical RV park and have a picnic table and scenic views. No campfires are allowed. Interior roads and sites are dirt, adding to the rustic feel of the camp that is within the city limits. A friendly staff, convenience store, café, playground and laundry are all on site for guests. Many attractions are nearby, including Williams, Route 66, Sedona and the Grand Canyon.
