Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

A victim of flooding in Nashville in 2010, this KOA has been undergoing a renovation spanning several years! We have seen this development in our stays here every few years. Although sites are typical of a KOA, a little tight, they offer enough of a grassy patio area to enjoy some time under your awning. Our preference: The newly remodeled deluxe sites that offer wide sites, crisp landscaping, paved patios, patio furniture, and fire pits. Sites here have been renumbered completely in the renovation process. One of the closest resorts to downtown Nashville and right next door to a Camping World, we found it to be a convenient, clean and fun place to stay during several visits to Music City! The campground offers a newly redone pool and spa, playground, horseshoes,
basketball court, miniature golf, outdoor bowling, a full basketball court, giant checkers and chess board, a huge game room with a pool table, ping pong tables, poker tables, giant connect four, a café, a beautiful lounge, arcade, common campfire rings, a small convenience store, complimentary site trash collection, a conference center, RV washes, an RV weight scale and a music barn where live entertainment plays! Phew! Cabins and tent sites are also available. We found the staff extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay. One of the greatest assets here is the shuttle that takes you directly to downtown Nashville each hour from mid afternoon through midnight for a nominal fee. Downtown offers honky tonks, restaurants, the Country Music Hall of Fame, a professional football stadium, a river walk and shopping. The Grand Ole Opry is a short distance away for a nominal bus or cab fee. Nearby Jellystone RV Resort is a comparable option if this KOA is full.
