complimentary breakfast bar, complimentary individual site trash pick up, Margarita Party Friday Nights, clubhouse room, rally tent, exercise room, spa, horseshoes, common outdoor fireplace patio, and gift shop. Definitely big-rig friendly, this RV resort truly stands up to the resort standard. Old Mesilla, established in 1848 and the site of Billy the Kid's trial and hanging is definitely worth spending a day in. Shops and restaurants fill the plaza as well as the old mission-style church. We have repeatedly enjoyed eating at La Posta, a historic restaurant located in an old adobe building original to the town and the former hideout of famous characters such as Billy the Kid and Pancho Villa. The food is a favorite of ours and a must-stop when passing through. Also nearby close to the RV park is New Mexico State University, New Mexico Farm and Ranch Museum and White Sands National Monument. The only downside to this resort that there is no swimming pool and slight freeway noise.
