Paradise, Santa Barbara, California

This perfectly named hideaway is just north of Santa Barbara along the San Marcos Pass. It's a beautiful, peaceful drive to and from the campground. Large oak trees keep camp shady and cool, but summers can be hot as the ocean breeze does not reach these inland valleys. Only 15 sites speckle this campground, so it's often quiet and sites are spacious and can accommodate even the biggest rigs. A river is accessible from the camp and a short walk from camp leads you to a beautiful swimming hole that's fun for all ages! Or, if staying dry is more your style, several hiking paths and equestrian trails lead from camp. Lake Cachuma is also nearby for water sports and fishing and
the city of Santa Barbara is nine miles south.
