This campground is settled beneath the awesome red walls of Zion National Park. Set at the entrance of the Visitor's Center, this campground offers some riverside sites, beautiful views and electrical hookups at nearly 2/3 of the sites, which is a major commodity in the summertime when temperatures average near the century mark and with unpredictable spring and fall weather. The downside of this campground is the prohibited use of generators. However, the proximity to the park is a major asset. Free National Park shuttles pick up just footsteps from the campground to take you deep into the park and the views while at camp are phenomenal.
Some trailheads are accessible from camp by foot. Also within walking distance is a movie theater, café, restaurants, market and souvenir shopping. This National Park campground is a budget friendly option to the luxurious, but pricey option of local RV resorts.
