This beautiful state park offers many amenities including summer trolley service into the town of Morro Bay, Museum of Natural History (free admission with campground stay), two restaurants, golf course, summer kayak rentals, walking paths and of course bay and ocean views. The campground has areas spotted with eucalyptus trees, while other areas are more barren and grassy. The restaurant, kayaking and museum are all just adjacent to the campground, while the trolley actually stops at the entrance of the camp every twenty
minutes. Sites here off little privacy, typical of California State Parks. All sites have paved pads, picnic tables, food lockers and a fire pit. Camp hosts offer firewood for sale.
