A map of this campground can be deceiving. The most scenic spots are the wooded spots further away from the lakeshore, which offer aspens and pines for a private, shady, and cooler camp. Sites closer to the lake may offer a lake view, however they are barren and less private. This campground is small, and maneuvering a larger rig through the campground can get tight at some turns, so move slowly. A dock with boat rentals and a small store with fishing supplies are just steps from the camp on the edge of the lake. A small gravel beach gives kids a place to get their toes wet. The town of June Lake is a short walk or
bike ride away, where you can enjoy an ice cream cone or get some needed supplies. This camp does close in winter due to snow.
